carried out as part of the Kooragang KCT Arrival Roads Resignalling Optimisation project.
John Holland Rail will install and commission three signal gantries on the Arrival Roads to
the Port Waratah Coal Services (PWCS) dump stations at KCT. The gantries will be located
at 176.275km, 176.664km and 176.864km with new signals as identified in the table

Signals numbers K9, K11, and K13 will be upgraded with modified route aspects and signal

Existing signals numbers K27, K29, K31 and K33 will be booked out of use and

In conjunction with re-signalling works number 115 and 124 crossovers will be booked out
of use and permanently removed from the network.
On completion of the works rail traffic traversing the KCT Arrival Roads to the PWCS Dump

junctions at the entrance to the arrival roads will be signalled as an equal speed junction.
This arrangement will allow the use of multi-lamp route MLRI indicators (MLRI) in
conjunction with a green aspect.
