Reviewing Inclusion - Inklusion im Blick

REVIEWING INCLUSION
Being one of the most urgent measures and therefore a topic of active discussion is the vocational
integration of people with disabilities in an inclusive labor market.
Already successful models of equal participation
of people with disabilities in the labor force beyond mere lip service can be found in Germany and
other European countries. Partially small and large companies, associations and institutions are
living proof of an inclusive mentality and can be
reviewed as good examples.
This symposium will provide ample opportunity
for exchanging knowledge across countries and
learning from diverse and successful European examples in the area of inclusive employment.
Quite specifically, the following questions will be
addressed: How can the requirements of the UN
Disability Rights Convention be met in the labor
market of today’s society? How do other countries
approach the issue and what can be learned from
these foreign models?
In accordance with the presented European examples, workshops will provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience for some very specific subjects, all centering around the integration
of accessibility and diversity into today’s employment.
Experience and discuss outstanding European
examples and gain valuable insights into the possibilities of successfully implementing models of
inclusive employment by attending this interesting
event on the 8th and 9th of May in Marburg!
