Dear Fellow Cider Makers, Since our formation in February of 2013

Dear Fellow Cider Makers,
Since our formation in February of 2013, The United States Association of Cider Makers has developed into a
viable trade organization with the main goal of promoting the growth of cider in America. We want
consumers to see cider as we do – a healthy, diverse and independent category. We’re committed to work to
grow the Association, expand the annual conference and create a valuable membership program.
Our Mission Statement says, “The United States Association of Cider Makers was organized to unite cider and
perry producers in the US. It gathers and shares information about cider production, cider regulations and
cider apple growing to help members improve their operations, raise awareness and advance cider in the
marketplace”.
Our Legislative Committee has been working diligently on getting the carbonation and alcohol levels for cider
aligned with the EU standards through the CIDER Act (H.R. 2921 and S. 1531). Click this link for further

By joining the USACM, you can lend your voice to support the CIDER Act, help make our annual conference
better, increase awareness of the industry, and benefit the cider and perry producers in the United States.
