MATERIAL PRESSURE TANKS IN MODULAR DESIGN

MATERIAL PRESSURE TANKS
IN MODULAR DESIGN
Stainless steel pressure
tanks in modular design
These tanks are engineered following a modular design that eases attaching a variety
of optional accessories such as agitators, fill
level probes and cover lifts. This makes for
flexibility when accommodating your specific production requirements.
This concept has been implemented for tank
models MDG 1, MDG 3, MDG 8, MDG 22
and MDG 45.

2 Fill stopper and funnel
The funnel, made of aluminum, makes it possible to fill
the tank without having to open the cover (MDG 22
and MDG 45).

3 Mounting port for agitator
WALTHER PILOT offers hand-operated, pneumatic and
electrically driven agitators.

alloy 1.43
The tanks are delivered with standard inlet fittings for
the compressed air supply, incorporating a safety valve.
Over and above that, you can purchase fittings with
a second (or even a third) regulator. Additional using
units can be connected here. Precision pressure regulators are also available on request.

The ball valves and all the parts in contact with the
material are built of stainless steel. We can also supply
distributor fittings to accept two or three ball valves.

6 Cover attachment with quick-release
fasteners
Available on request. Otherwise, wing screws (MDG 1,
2, 3) or star grips are standard equipment for the tanks.
7 Swivel and braking castors (five)
These castors can be ordered for the MDG 22 and
MDG 45 tanks.
8 Material tapping point (lower)
Installation port for lower material tapping ball valve or
distribution system.
Pneumatic cover lift
For MDG 22 and MDG 45. Adding these accessories
is recommended especially when agitators or fill level
probes are mounted on the cover.
