GlotechMDK 200 is a complex mixture of silicone oil and low foaming emulsifiers. Application Details Glotech MDK 200 is high shear stable and is extensively used in oil field and wide variety of water-based paints and coatings formulations. The product emulsifies readily in cold water. On addition of the product to water an instant white emulsion is formed which insures the most rapid performance and long lasting antifoaming effect.In oil field product is applied with out dilution with the dosage rate of 0.2% to 0.6%. The dosage rate is normally in the range of 0.1 to 0.4% on total formulation weight although tests should be carried out under factory conditions to ascertain the exact dosage for specific systems. The product could be effectively used in a wide pH range.
