mechanisms, including:
• Requirements of the Construction Code Chapter on
buildings (CCCB) (New installations) – the CCCB is aimed at:
• contractors and designers (affected buildings)
• owners (affected buildings under RBQ and possibly
under municipal regulations)
• Request to RBQ for equivalent measures
• New requirements on door locking mechanisms
proposed for the future building code
• The role of municipalities (stricter requirements for
licensing and inspection)
