Both tools are made of high quality material, which is only available with a special license. With over 100.000 tools sold, the construction is well tested. Thanks to its in 60 positions adjustable reaction arm the MXT and XLT are usable for all kind of situations with limited free radius. The positions can be fixed easily. The solid single piece housing, made of light weight TITAL 399, houses “HYTORC’s high tech”, like continuous turning by angle, reaction pawl, solid toothing and double driving pawl. By combining these techniques with a hydraulic twin hose system the MXT and XLT operate fast and powerful. Furthermore the twin hose provides a shock absorption in case the nuts loosen with great force. This is to prevent damage to your tool. The patented 360° x 180° uniswivel guarantees optimal flexibility and in combination with security couplers a maximum safety. The reaction pawl assures a higher nut turning speed (see the test results at the back). The reaction pawl also guarantees parallel flanges to remain parallel during the whole bolting process. In certain circumstances such as long bolts, the net torque does not arrive on the nut. Tested by BASF Engineering April 2003.
