5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The event organisers (see above) are at your disposal and can advise you on the means of
transportation in and around Bratislava further to the information below.
3
5. 1 How to get to and from Bratislava National Airport
The most practical and easiest way to get from the airport is a taxi. There is only one
company operating to and from the airport. The official taxis with a taximeter permanently
available outside the arrivals terminal. The fare from the airport to the city centre is normally
around 15 – 20 €. Licensed taxis can be recognized by their registered number. Before
boarding the taxi, ask for a driver for the price to the city centre to avoid unreasonably
overcharged prices.
For all the means of transportation to and from the airport, please follow this link (car, bus,
train and taxi): http://www.bts.aero/en/passengers/navigation/from-the-airport/
5. 2 How to get to and from Vienna National Airport
For all transportation possibilities from Vienna Airport (including trains (S-Bahn to Vienna city
and then a train to Bratislava) and direct buses to Bratislava), please follow this link:
http://www.viennaairport.com/en/passengers/arrival__parking/city_airport_train_cat
5. 3 Official taxi services
With regard to a taxi service around the city of Bratislava, the best option is always to call
and order a taxi (see some numbers below). Furthermore, you can always ask at the hotel to
order one for you. We do not recommend taking a taxi from the street, as they usually
charge more (always try asking them how much would it be to an address that you provide
and the amount shouldn’t exceed 5-7 € in the city centre).

8. INFORMATION CENTRE
The event will be closed to the public. An information centre will be available for all
