Next to successful market launches of innovative and new products, the discontinuation of products that have reached the end of their product life cycles due to low market demand is unfortunately also necessary. Under «Affected Products» on pages 3-5 you will find a list of phased-out material-numbers with last order dates. Where available, an alternate type is given which ideally fits the current and future requirements. With this Sales Info we want to give our sales partners the opportunity to react in time and to make arrangements with their customers. Phase-out Procedure / Time Schedule On the SCHURTER website the data sheets, if available, of the affected types are marked with a phase-out text. Also the last possible order date and the link to an alternate type is given. In SAP the Material Status respectively Distribution Chain Status is set to either “Del. material with substitute“ or “Del. material without substitute”. Further a sales text MD04 with all the corresponding info is provided for the affected products. In addition to the list of affected products on pages 3-5, you will find an Excel list with all order numbers attached to this e-mail and in our Partner Service [1] portal.
