Export Guidelines for Thermal Cameras
DVTEL, INC. sells thermal imaging products based on sensitive technologies that are controlled for export, reexport and retransfer by the
United States (U.S.) Government. As a result, this product line is controlled by the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade
Controls (DDTC), which implements and enforces the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of
Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), which implements and enforces the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
To conform to U.S. federal regulations regarding the sale and shipment of thermal imaging technology, customers are required to submit
appropriate documentation at the time the product is ordered and, if needed, obtain export authorization. For products identified below as
being ITAR controlled, exports, reexports and retransfers will almost always require prior transaction-specific written authorization from
DDTC. For products identified below as being EAR controlled, exports, reexports and retransfers may require prior transaction-specific
written authorization from BIS, depending on the destination country, the end-user, and/or the end-use. Customers should provide
destination country/end-use/end-user information at the time of purchase in order for DVTEL to make proper export licensing
determinations.
