Combined flexible insulating materials
Features:
• Insulation class H (180 °C) in accordance with VDE 0530 Part 1
• Insulating material in accordance with IEC 626-1
• Insulating material for electrical purposes, consisting of three layers
Inner layer: Electrical insulating film made of polyimide (e.g. Kapton)
Outer layers: Aramid paper (Nomex), calandered
Application:
• Slot insulation, slot closure
• Good absorbency for impregnating varnishes and impregnating or trickle resins,
thus providing excellent bonding of all winding components
• Smooth surface, abrasion-resistant, therefore good machineability
• Low moisture absorption, high thermal and good chemical resistance
