Employing a Bosch long-range radar sensor that can
track up to 32 objects, a custom-built Intel Core i3 Linux PC and a high-definition machine vision camera,
the Bosch Radar Collision Avoidance System provides
real-time visualization and complete situational awareness at a glance.
The system helps prevent the most common causes of
collisions and gives drivers a wealth of information
with a fraction of the attention required for traditional
rear-view.
With a momentary glance, the driver will know how
many cars are following, each one’s distance and closing speed, and whether or not they are a faster class.
In addition, bright flashing arrows alert the driver
when any car attempts a passing maneuver. All of
these features work just as well at night or in the rain
when visibility is normally lost.
