Where is the OBD port located? The OBD port is located in the driver’s cabin within about 3 feet of the steering wheel. Normally, this port is located just under the dashboard above the gas or brake pedal. It can normally be located by simply looking under the dashboard. Here is a list of countries and the model year when OBD port became mandatory. However at this time we are only accepting orders within the US. How do you know if your car has an OBD port? Here are two things to look for: 1. There will be an OBD II connector, and 2. There will be a note on a sticker or nameplate under the hood stating "OBD II compliant" or "OBD II Certified". The OBD connector is located under or around the dash near the drivers seat (within 2 feet of the steering wheel). It is sometimes behind a cover marked OBD or OBDII.
