The OBD port is located in the driver’s cabin within about 3 feet of the steering wheel. Normally,
this port is located just under the dashboard above the gas or brake pedal. It can normally be
located by simply looking under the dashboard. There are other instances where the connector
is behind a cover panel marked OBD or OBD2. Here are a couple of pictures of what the OBD
port looks like:

How do you know if your car has an OBD port?
Here are two things to look for:
1. There will be an OBD II connector, and
2. There will be a note on a sticker or nameplate under the hood stating "OBD II compliant"
or "OBD II Certified".
The OBD connector is located under or around the dash near the drivers seat (within 2 feet of
the steering wheel). It is sometimes behind a cover marked OBD or OBDII.
