JOB POSTING Tri-County Virginia, OIC is seeking the following positions to join our Apple Country Head Start program that serves children ages 3-5 in Clarke County, Frederick County and Winchester City. Teacher Position Summary: The Teacher is responsible to plan and deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in Apple Country Head Start. The primary role of the Teacher is to create a safe and healthy environment that fosters children learning and growth within social-emotional, intellectual, communication, and physical developmental domains. This person is responsible for working in collaboration with parents/families and staff. Teachers complete all necessary classroom documentation. Qualifications: The minimum qualification for this position is an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children. A Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. The Teacher must have transportation means for his/her duties involving travel. This person will have previous preschool experience.
