OIC Delegation
calls on DU VC
A five-member delegation led by Mr. Fahad A. Al Dakkan, Director
General of Administration & Finance Department of Organization of the
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor
Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today (Tuesday), September 2, 2014 at the
latter’s office of the university.
Other members of the delegation were Prof. Dr. M. Imtiaz Hossain,
Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ
of OIC, Dr. Razley Bin Mohammad Nordin, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Mottalib and
Prof. Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin.

During the meeting they discussed possibilities of undertaking
collaborative academic, research and training programs on Information &
Communication Technology (ICT) jointly by the University of Dhaka and
Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique apprised the team
members of various academic, research and extra-curricular activities of DU.
He also thanked the guests for their visit to and keen interest in academic
activities of Dhaka University.
