■NMC Board Hardware Installation
■Before Using the NMC Board
This manual provides installation instructions of NMC Board. Use this instructions,
after mounting the NMC Board to PC, install the NMC Manager to use. Device driver will
be installed together while installing the NMC Manager.
IMPORTANT
The driver support only Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Follow figure shows that wiring between NMC Board, EtherCAT Servo Drive(ex:CSD7),
NMC Function Module, EtherCAT I/O Module and Analog/Pulse Servo. See user
manual for more information of wiring.

Throughout this manual, when necessary, we use notes to make you aware of safety
considerations.
1. Shut down your computer
if it is ON. Open the cover
of your personal computer
to mount the NMC Board .
Determine which PCIe slot
you are going to mount
the NMC Board.

3. Grab the NMC Board and
mount the NMC Board into
the PCIe slot you decided to
use by gently pressing
down both ends of the NMC
Board.
4. Seat the NMC Board from a
screw which is built in the
computer. Make sure the
NMC Board is firmly seated
into the slot. Then close the
cover of your personal
computer.
■NMC Manager Software Installation
1. Open/Run the NMC Installer file.
2. When the window screen of NMC – Install shield Wizard pops
up, click Next button.
4. Click on the Yes button to install the driver.
6. Click on the install button, after set location for the installation.

• Mounting/dismounting boards while PC power is plugged
will cause products failure.
• NMC should be used where the air flows smoothly in PC.
• If use of several NMC Board, mount them separately as
far as possible.
• If several NMC Boards mount to PCIe slot closely, must
use additional fan for forced air cooling.
• If reboot the PC after using long time, NMC CPU will
not be able to reboot due to heat. Turn off the the PC for
enough cooling.
• NMC Board’s heat sink might be extremely hot after
using long time, please note serious personal injury.
7. Click on the Finish button. Installation has been completed.
3. When the window screen of NMC – Install shield Wizard pops
up, click Next button.
5. Click on the accept license agreement for installation.
8. Click on the icon which installed on your desktop, the following
flash window pop up then NMC Manager will run. See NMC user
manual for detailed installation instructions and descriptions.

■NMC Manager 소프트웨어 설치 방법
1. NMC_Installer.exe 파일을 실행하십시오.
2. NMC–InstallShield Wizard의 화면이 뜹니다. [Next] 버튼을 클릭합니다.
4. [Yes]를 클릭하여 드라이버 설치를 합니다.
6. 설치 위치를 설정하신 다음, [설치] 버튼을 클릭 합니다.
주의
• PC의 전원이 인가된 상태에서 보드를 장착/탈착 하는 것은 제품 고장의 원인이 됩니다.
• NMC 보드는 PC 내의 공기 흐름이 원활한 곳에 장착하여 사용하십시오.
• 여러 장의 NMC 보드를 사용할 경우에는 가능한 NMC 보드를 멀리 띄워서 사용하십시오.
• 여러 장의 NMC 보드를 PCIe 슬롯에 인접하게 설치해야 하는 경우 별도의 FAN 등을 이용하여 강제로 공냉을 실시하여 주십시오.
• 장시간 사용 후 PC를 재시작하는 경우에는 NMC CPU가 발열로 인하여 부팅이 불가능 할 수 있습니다. PC의 전원을 차단하여 충분히 냉각된 후 다시 사용하십시오.
• 장시간 사용 후 NMC 보드의 히트싱크는 매우 뜨거울 수 있습니다. 화상에 주의하십시오.
7. [Finish] 버튼을 클릭하십시오. 설치가 완료 되었습니다.
3. 프로그램을 설치하기 위해 [Install] 버튼을 클릭합니다.
5. 설치하기 위해 사용권 계약의 [동의함] 버튼을 클릭합니다.
8. 바탕화면에 설치 된 NMC_Manager 아이콘을 클릭하면 아래와 같은 플래시 창이 뜬 후에 NMC Manager가 실행됩니다.
