Biography Pedro Cabrita Carneiro, MBA, is Vice-­‐President of the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), the national funding agency for science and research in Portugal. With a degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Portugal and an MBA from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa / Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, Pedro Cabrita Carneiro has a solid experience in business management. He has worked for leading national and multinational companies, where he has held several leadership positions. He was marketing director of Fima-­‐Lever-­‐Iglo/Unilever, managing-­‐director of Lever-­‐Elida, member of the board of Oni Telecom, and vice-­‐president of the Círculo Bertrand Group (Bertelsmann Portugal). His most recent job was as Managing Partner of the Reputation Institute in Portugal. He has several years’ teaching experience at major universities in Portugal, and is currently invited assistant professor at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where he lectures Statistics and Strategic Management Consulting Projects.
