Some States Take Action to help protect consumers from motor oils and transmission fluids that are potentially harmful to vehicles. They do so by ordering these products off the shelves in the state. It should be noted, however, that while products may be ordered off the shelves in one state, such potentially harmful motor oils and transmission fluids can, and often are found in other states that have not taken action to remove them.
