Accessories for Tablet Friability Testing Accessories for Tablet Friability Testing Pharma Test offers a variety of tools and accessories as described in the international Pharmacopeias. Friability and Abrasion Drums Both friability and abrasion drums are available for all Pharma Test friability testing instruments. The friability drums are available as anti-static coated versions and as standard, non-coated drums. A full set of standard, non-coated drums is included in the standard scope of supply of each instrument. Friability Drum Abrasion Drum with Lamellas 10° Angle Stand In case the tablet shape or size causes irregular tumbling, the Pharmacopeia recommends to perform the test with the drum at an angle of 10°. In this case the tablet should no longer stick together when lying next to each other but will be able to fall freely again. Pharma Test recommends to use the 10° stands for all samples with a diameter of more than 13mm. The stands come as a complete set of two feet and are available for all Pharma Test friability testing instruments. They can simply be clipped back when not needed for a particular test.
