Method of Payment
Payment is by credit card – Visa – Mastercard – AMEX or bank transfer.
If funding is being sought through your institution, please keep a copy of your registration tax invoice/
receipt to follow up on its progress through your institute’s accounts department.
Delegates whose registration fees has not been received prior to the Symposium will be required to pay
their registration by personal credit card on registration.
No registration fees are to be outstanding following the Symposium.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations can be made via the online registration site. Cancellations received prior to 1 October
wiII receive a full refund less AUD120 cancellation fee. Registration refunds after 1 October will only be
made in exceptional circumstances.
Liability
In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the VERVE Symposium and the
Conference Management Company – L&R Contract Business Services – accepts no responsibility for
loss of monies incurred by delay.

Accommodation has been secured by the Symposium Secretariat at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth
at a discounted rate.
Room Rate - $272.00 per room per night (single/twin or
double occupancy) including breakfast for one.
Only bookings made through the Secretariat will secure the
Symposium rates.
If you wish to share a room, please include one deposit only
when completing your online registration and advise in
the section provided, who you will be sharing with.
Note: Accommodation prior to or following the dates of
the Symposium will be available on a request basis.
Check in time is 1400.
Please note that the hotel will not guarantee availability of your
room before 1400. If you are not arriving at the hotel prior to
1800, please advise the Symposium Secretariat, to ensure
that your room is kept for you.
Deposits
A deposit for one night’s tariff, or the total accommodation amount, must be included when
completing your online registration. If paying a deposit, this amount will be deducted from your
account when you are checking out of the hotel.
No accommodation refunds will be made for cancellations received after 1 November.
Change of Booking
Any change to a reservation must be notified through the Meeting Secretariat and NOT directly
with the hotel.

Sydney’s Luna Park is positioned on the north side of
Sydney Harbour offering a majestic view across the
entire expanse of the spectacular harbour.
Luna Park is an iconic amusement park that offers fun,
entertainment and state of the art function facilities.
The evening promises to provide lots of fun.
Transfers will be provided by ferry from Circular Quay and
by coach back to the hotel at the end of the evening.

approximately 40 minutes from Sydney’s international and domestic airport.

December in Sydney is usually a month with sunshine and temperatures around the mid 20s.
Visas
For delegates travelling from overseas, please check your visa, passport and health requirements
before your intended date of travel. You must have a minimum of two blank pages in your passport
