philosophy. IPs WBC society Nepal believes on participatory leadership development,
restoration, conservation, sustainable management, research, documentation,
training, communicating biodiversity, public awareness, capacity building concerning
biodiversity, ecosystem, species, genetic resources, traditional knowledge, freshwater,
wetland, culture, heritages, folklore, customary practices, environment and climate
change and local adaptation. CEPA for Nepalese indigenous nationalities and their
respective organizations, networks in the field of CBD, biodiversity, forest biodiversity,
inland water, CBD Article 8(j), 10c, ABS under Nagoya protocol, Aichi biodiversity
Targets, Financing for biodiversity lobby with focal ministry and advocacy to recognise
and respect IPs rights.

Key duty
Develop plan, research, training, assessment, documentation, coordination,
communication, network, lobby, awareness, capacity building, leadership
development, restoration, conservation, wise use, biodiversity, natural resources,
freshwater wetland, species, sacred groves, culture and Himalayan folklore,
ethnobiology, traditional knowledge and environmental protection for biodiversity
Leadership Development:
Organisation develop based leadership module for indigenous minorities, focus on
historical prospective biodiversity for conservation. WWF US 2012 grant for capacity
