TOURNAMENT, ST. ALBERT
Congratulations on making it to the RAB Cup Tournament! This will be a 6 team tournament showcasing the top athletes
from across Alberta born 1995-1998.
The tournament will be taking place at St. Albert at Servus Place May 9-11, 2014!
Canada Winter Games Evaluations
RAB Cup Tournament will provide the Canada Winter Games team staff with a better look at athletes. Team staff will be
present all weekend evaluating at each of the games looking to select athletes to attend their CWG Selection Camp to be
held June 5-8 in Penhold, AB.
Each athlete will receive feedback on their game play after the weekend. This will be distributed by Ringette Alberta
within the weeks after the event.
Jerseys
Athletes will be assigned a team colour and jersey for the weekend of the Tournament. This jersey must be returned to
Ringette Alberta at the end of the weekend. Please do not trade jerseys or numbers as CWG Team Staff will utilize this
information for evaluations.
Goalies
There have been 8 goalies selected to move onto RAB Cup Tournament. Rather than be assigned a specific team, these
goalies will complete a goalie rotation over the course of the weekend, being assigned a particular game versus a team.
Goalies will play the full game for one team.
Meals
Athletes will need to provide their own meals over the course of the weekend. There are food services available on site
(Booster Juice, Starbucks, Arena Concession). Please take note of your group schedules and plan accordingly, as there
may be limited times for breaks.
Transportation
Athletes are responsible for their own transportation.
