2010: Finalist of the “3 European Young Chemist Award 2010” at the 3rd EuCheMS Chemistry Congress in
Nürnberg (Germany).
2011: Supervisor winner of the research work “Aplicaciones antitumorales de nuevos materiales
mesoestructurados funcionalizados con ácido betulínico” presented by Sergio Sánchez Muñoz winning the
Special Prize “Marie Curie” in the X Spanish National University Arquímedes Contest.





Design and synthesis of new anticancer agents based on metal complexes or natural products.
Synthesis of novel biomaterials with medicinal applications against cancer.
Preparation of novel materials based on modified TiO2 with photocatalytic activity.
Study of phosphorus-rich complexes as potential precursors for the preparation of metal phosphides.
