FEATURES
• Specially designed cooling fins on the lamp housing increase surface
cooling area by 300%.

FEATURES
Essentially similar in all respects to the Genflood, this floodlight is designed to be
equipped with two lamps.
• Lamps may be switched individually thereby providing two levels of
illumination. This is ideal for sports field lighting in that for practice sessions
light level may be reduced thereby saving power. More economical than using
two separate floodlights.
• Lamps may be mixed. Sodium and Metal Halide – this provides a more
acceptable colour than pure Sodium.
• Can be epoxy powder coated for use in extremely corrosive areas.

Representing the latest in lighting technology and innovative design this floodlight
is protected under Registered Design No. 8-007 and complies with Department of
Public Works Specification No. 4/37(1) which supersedes Defence Specification
No. W39-7/0043-5/E for perimeter fence security lighting.
• The floodlight utilises 2 lamps to provide a beam exactly 180°wide in the
horizontal plane.
• Mounted 0.5m behind the fence at 3-4m mounting heights the poles may be
spaced up to 90cm apart.
• No backward spillage of light enabling a patrolling guard to be totally invisible
when 1m behind the fence.
• Relatively small compact design produces minimum target.
• No dark spot between poles in the event of on lamp failing.
• Extremely high ratio of Vertical illumination : Horizontal illumination (5:1 at
30mn outside fence) ensures that an intruder will cast a long dark shadow
enabling him to be easily spotted.
• Control gear mounting plate slides out for ease of maintenance.
• Front glass 5mm thick Armour-plated physical and thermal shock resistant.
Manufactured for use in harsh coastal corrosive climatic conditions – all
fasteners of 316 marine grade stainless steel.
• Lower than conventional mounting height means saving on pole costs and
installation.

• Body can be supplied either in aluminium or mild steel. In both cases the
metalwork is epoxy powder coated white.
• Specially designed stepped high purity aluminium reflector provides wide
light distribution at low mounting heights. A totally enclosed version in 316
Marine Grade stainless steel with special ‘breathing’ holes which allow for
the luminaire to be hosed down is also available.
