Tech Tip: Transferring Remote Sites from RASplus to RsM Software
RsM (RoadRunner Secure Management) Software™
When upgrading from RASplus to RsM Software, it is simple to import the existing site list to avoid manually
re-entering site information.
Follow these steps to import site information:

Launch RsM
NOTE: You must be logged into the software as ADMIN. Make sure you launch the “RsM Run
as administrator” Icon
•
Login using appropriate credentials
•
Select “System>RsM Setup>Devices” from the top menu bar

The RsM setup screen will appear. Click on the add device icon.
•
Select “Device information File” from the drop down menu of the Scan Mode options.
•
Select the BROWSE icon to locate the desired RASPlus XML file (typically located within the
RASplus folder on your C:\ drive).

Select and open the XML document file “RASplus_Setup”
•
Select “Start Scan”. The window below will appear allowing you to select the desired sites from the
Device Scan window.
•
Select “Add” to import the site information to the RsM Software.

After closing the Device Scan window, the sites will be loaded and will appear in the RsM setup.

Select “OK” to load sites into your sites panel on the left hand side of your screen
