Post meeting note – Mary managed to find the relevant plan on the website, as a
result of which we agreed, via email on 6th August 2014, our response as follows “Again, the Parish Council has only considered that part of the revision to this planning
application which passes along the northern boundary of our Parish - along the A4174 Ring
Road between Wick Wick Roundabout and Bromley Heath Roundabout.
Our comments therefore only relate to this section of the scheme.
The Parish Council appreciates that the 2 bus stops for Bromley Heath in the original
scheme would have been difficult to access because of the need to cross the playing field and
due to the bridge crossing and the long sloping access paths needed to deal with the height
difference down to the carriageway. However, residents in that heavily populated area will
now have an unacceptably long walk to make use of the proposed bus stops at either the
Willy Wicket or Hambrook. In spite of the cost implications relating to provision of these bus
stops, we would urge South Gloucestershire Council to take a long term view with regard to
future use of land in the vicinity and revert to the original plan."
6. Any other business
(a) Consultation on South Gloucestershire Policies, Sites and Places (PSP) Plan.
It was agreed that Elizabeth would circulate her responses to this Consultation to
members of the Committee for their input and comment (comments to be received by
12th August), after which a final version would be sent to the Clerk for onward
transmission to South Gloucestershire Council.
(b) Public consultation – Draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) 2014 (see
email dated 24 July from Planning LDF).
As the closing date for receipt of responses to this Consultation is not until 13th
October 2014, we agreed to carry this item forward to a future meeting of this
Committee so that we have an opportunity to study it and put together a response.
(c) Review of Private Sector Housing Service Consultation (see email dated 01
August from [email protected]/psh.

October 2014, we agreed to carry this item forward to a future meeting of this
