Born in 1968, Andrea Bonazzi lives in Genoa, Italy. Strongly interested in the weird and fantastic in
arts and literature, he began in the late eighties to create his first sculptures and illustrations, focusing
his works mainly on the literary world of H. P. Lovecraft. He also works as English-Italian literary
translator, and collaborates with magazines, publishers, and e-zines as a columnist and essay writer.
Scenography.

Sculptures.
Artworks based on Weird and Lovecraftian themes. Carved briar tobacco-pipes. Unique pieces
carved in sandstone or slatestone; other sculptures in plaster modelling paste with stones, glasses, metal
details and insertions; mixed media and other materials.

Weird Fiction.
Andrea Bonazzi has designed in 2003 the official award plate’s logo for the Premio Lovecraft, Italian
literary horror award.
