The team leading Conference play at the turn has won the regular season title 19 times over the last 20 years. Eight times during the last 20 years a team reached the midway point of league play with a record of 8-1 or better and ended up winning the regular season crown, or in the case of Arizona and Stanford in 1999-2000, sharing the crown. The last time a team was 8-1 at the turn and failed to win the regular season title was UCLA in 1993-94. • In Pac-12 play, the home team is 36-18 (.667). Overall, Pac-12 teams have racked up a 118-28 (.808) home court record this season... Three Pac-12 teams remain undefeated at home. UTAH and ARIZONA leads the way with 13-0 home records, followed by OREGON STATE at 12-0... Arizona is riding a 34-game home court winning streak. • ARIZONA (No. 6 AP/No. 6 Coaches) and UTAH (No. 13/No. 11) remain in this week’s Top 25... Arizona is currently riding a 34-game winning streak at McKale Center, it currently stands as the second-longest in the nation, and the fifth-longest in program history. Since 2010-11, the Wildcats lead the Pac-12 in home court winning percentage and is 87-11 (.888)... In the Huntsman Center, Utah has a scoring margin of +26.7 in its 13 home games this season... Colorado is now 70-11 (.864) at the Coors Events Center under coach Tad Boyle... OREGON STATE is a perfect 12-0 at Gill Coliseum this season and have won five straight Pac-12 home games for the first time since the 2005 season. The last time they had a longer streak was over three seasons from 1989-91 when they won 14 straight conference home games. • In Pac-12 play dating back to 1979, no set of home partners (ARIZ/ASU, CAL/STAN, ORE/OSU, UCLA/USC, WASH/WSU, COLO/ UTAH) has combined to be a perfect 18-0 at home in league play. Only three times have home partners managed to combine for a 17-1 record in home league games: 2014 (ARIZ/ASU), 1997 (CAL/ STAN), 1992 (UCLA/USC). • CALIFORNIA has now pulled off a road sweep at the Washington schools in back-to-back years. Certainly a rare feat considering the challenging road schedule in Pac-12 play. Only one other Pac-12 squad has accomplished that feat since 2004 - California also did it in 2008-09. • STANFORD senior guard Chasson Randle has scored 20 or more points in six straight games, averaging 24.7 ppg during that stretch. During that six-game span, he’s shooting 42-of-87 (.483) from the field, 19-of-39 (.487) from three-point range and 45-of-50 (.900) from the free throw line. • UTAH freshman forward Jakob Poeltl is leading the league in field goal percentage, hitting 76-of-114 (.667). Should he maintain that percentage, it would be the best shooting percentage by a Pac-12 player since UCLA’s Jelani McCoy shot 75.6 percent from the field in 1996-97. • COLORADO senior guard Askia Booker has led the Buffaloes in conference scoring eight of nine games (one shared) with a scoring average of 20.7 points per game. Five of the nine games are over 20 points, including a 43-point and 30-point efforts. He is looking to become the second player since Alec Burks (2010-11, Big 12) to lead the conference in scoring and the fifth Buff since 1954-55 to average more than 20 points in conference play. • ARIZONA senior guard T.J. McConnell recorded eight steals in the win over Oregon State. It’s the most steals by a Pac-12 player since UCLA’s Jordan Adams had eight vs. Sacramento State (Nov. 18, 2013). It’s one theft shy of the Arizona record of nine set by Bennett Davison vs. Stanford (Feb. 28, 1998). •OREGON junior forward Elgin Cook was averaging 10.8 ppg through non-conference play, but has pushed his scoring average in Pac-12 play to 15.2 ppg. Over the last four games, Cook is at 16.3 ppg, while shooting 23-of-40 (.575) from the field and 17-of21 (.810) from the charity stripe. • ARIZONA STATE senior forward Shaquielle McKissic enjoys the friendly confines of Wells Fargo Arena this season to the tune of 14.5 points per game. On the road, he’s at 6.7 points per game.
