We are happy t o announce t hat t he Pret oria Boys High School Old Boys Associat ion
employed t wo ladies at t he beginning of February t his year.
Mrs Yvonne Uys, a school
secret ary for t he past 32 years,
has been appoint ed as Club
Administ rat or of t he Old Boys
Club in Lynnwood and will t ake
over from t he incumbent , Mrs Fay
Burns in t he near fut ure. Yvonne
ret ired from Pret oria Boys High
School at t he end of 2013 where
she happily worked for t hirt een
years.
Yvonne Uys & Inge P aulsen
Ms Inge Paulsen has t aken charge of t he Old Boys Associat ion port folio and has
already become an import ant cog in t he wheel. She comes from a graphic design
background and is well equipped t o cope wit h t he rigours of t he t echnological age!
She is updat ing all t he Old Boys informat ion, organising t he Old Boys’ Dinner and Golf
Day and a number of ot her it ems. Please cont act her at [email protected] should you

SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE
Many Old Boys, parent s and friends of t he school are eager t o know about t he
progress of t he school hall project and relat ed refurbishment s.

A reminder of t he Annual Old Boys Weekend held on t he first weekend in June.
This year t he Annual Golf Day follows t he Founders Assembly at 09:30 on Friday 6 June
2014 at Zwart kop Count ry Club. If you have not booked your fourball or sponsored

OBITUARIES
We have been informed of t he passing of Col. Heinrich Robert Dit t berner, bet t er
known as Heinie.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday 13 May 2014, 10:30 at t he St Pet ers
Evangelical Lut heran Church, 295 Nana Sit a St reet (Skinner) on t he corner of Lilian
Ngoyi St reet (van der Walt ) in cent ral Pret oria.
