FORT DRUM NEW YORK
•
Both Pediatricians and Family Physicians are well equipped and trained
to provide excellent care for the children of military families.
•
Both of these medical specialties can treat the most acute illnesses such
as acute infections and also manage the long term complications from
pediatric illness like obesity and developmental disorders.
•
The Family Physician is uniquely trained to care for children during
every stage of life from their initial visit as a newborn through their
transition from adolescence into adulthood. As that child grows and
transitions to a young adult the family physician will provide continuity of
care unmatched by any other specialty to ensure health of that
individual’s mind, body, and spirit.
