I. WFT Installation Guideline
1.1
How to install Wind Financial Terminal
 General Steps:
Firstly,download installing package → Secondly, run the package → Thirdly, input account & password to logon
 Detailed Steps:
1. The Chinese Version installing package link: http://www.wind.com.cn/windftp/wind.net/WFT2013_Setup_CHS.zip
The English version installing package link: http://www.wind.com.cn/windftp/wind.net/WFT2013_Setup_ENU.zip
2. After unzipping the file, doulbe click WFT2013_Setup_CHS.exe for installation

3. Press “scan(浏览)”to set up the installation path. The non-system disk is recommended, such as D:\ **( in order to reduce
the impact on computer performance)
4. Double click “Wind Financial Terminal” icon , enter account and password and then press “login(登录) button

1.2
How to upgrade Wind Financial Terminal
 General Steps:
When WFT needs to be upgraded, “Rapid upgrade” or “Manual upgrad” are used.
 Detailed Steps:
Rapid upgrade: Hold “Shift” key by left hand and meanwhile press login(登录) button by right hand before entering
WFT.
Manual upgrade:
1. Download upgrade package from http://www.wind.com.cn/windftp/wind.net/windnet_2013.zip
2. Unzip upgrade package to Desktop. Select all the folders (Ctrl+A) and copy (Ctrl+C)

3. Enter Wind setup path, such as D:\wind\Wind.NET.Client\WindNET, to paste and replace all copyed folders here (Ctrl+V).
Afterwards, the upgrade is completed.

How to uninstall Wind Financial Terminal
 General Steps:
To uninstall WFT from Control Panel>Add or Delete Program
 Detailed Steps:
1.Click “Start—Settings—Control Panel—Add or Delete Program”

2. Choose “Wind Financial Terminal”, click “Delete” button, clean the residual files in WFT setup path. Afterwards, restart computer system.

II. Wind Excel Add-in

Wind Excel Add-in Dispeared
 General Steps:
First, check if excel add-in is disabled, if yes, enable it to repair.
Second, if excel add-in(wdf.dll) is not disabled, it needs to be registered manually.
 First Detailed Steps:
1. Disabled items in Office 2003

Enable Wdf.dll add-in.

1. XP Operation System
a) Enter \wind\Wind.NET.Client\WindNET\bin
b) Drag wdf.dll onto regsvr32.exe with successful notice.

a) Enter \wind\Wind.NET.Client\WindNET\bin
b) Choose regsvr32.exe, then right click to choose “properties”  CompatibilityPrivilege Level “Run this program as an

Pop-up Window “The Application has started”(应用程序已启动) when starting WFT.
 General Steps:
End Wmain.exe and Wbox.exe in Task Manager.
 Detailed Steps:
a) Bring up Task Manager face using shortcut keys: Ctrl+Alt+Delete
b) Sort by Image Name in Process and end wmain.exe

Garbled Menu in WFT
 General Steps:
Modify the Region and Language options
●
The basic reason： English version operation system or Win7 system may occur sometimes.
 Detailed Steps:
1. Make sure they are Chinese (Simplified) and China in it.
a) StartControl Panel Region and Language options
b) In Region options: Choose Chinese (Simplified) and China
c) In Administrative: Choose Chinese (Simplified)
2.
Modify Users’ Regedit

StartRun ”regedit”，
b)
Enter “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International”
c)
Double click “Locale”，change the number to “00000804”
（the default number is“00000409”）
d)
Restart computer system and then restart WFT.

 Gerneral Steps:
Send the error messege and snapshot to [email protected] and describe how does it happen in detial.
● The basic reason：Wind Financial Terminal encounters an error.
 Detailed Steps:
1. Click “click here”in the error window
2. Tick “Copy to Clipboard”in the new pop-up face in the right below and then click “OK”
3. If use Outlook please send it directly to [email protected]
4. If not,open a new Text or Word to paste(Ctrl+V) and send in
attachment.
