SIX Financial Information provides real-time fixed
income data for new global bond analytics tool
Zurich, London – SIX Financial Information has been chosen by Hessegim
Software, a leading Israeli financial technology company, as the preferred
vendor for global fixed income and reference data. The data is fed via the
SIX apiD real-time pricing feed into Hessegim‘s new analytical tool Prafis.
Prafis utilises both the SIX apiD and its flagship product Valor Data Feed
(VDF) to provide essential bond information for investors.
SIX Financial Information’s highly modular apiD interface is used to build
versatile, real-time financial information solutions to access the vast market and
reference database covering 12 million instruments. Backed by VDF, a fully
structured and encoded financial data feed, SIX is offering near-real time
reference data to clients.
Arik Sorotzkin, CEO at Hessegim, explains why the company decided to partner
with SIX: “We selected SIX Financial Information as our preferred data partner
because their apiD solution allows us to easily integrate the data into Prafis.
Moreover, their extensive coverage of the global bond market was exactly what
we were looking for. Our decision was confirmed by the success of the project
and the excellent support provided by the SIX team.”
Hessegim´s Prafis system focuses on US corporate and government issues
with access to other international bond markets already planned. Prafis uses
proprietary algorithms and optimization codes, combining third party references
and real-time market data, which offers the ability to scale up and extend
functionality to create a superior level of analysis.
“With apiD our aim is to make it easy for market innovations such as Prafis
to connect to our extensive database. We are thrilled to support the launch
of Prafis, a system that makes navigating the corporate bond space simple
and intuitive,” says Martin Cole, Managing Director of SIX Financial
Information UK.
