Automated driving at Bosch
The motivation behind the development of automated driving at Bosch is
safety. Worldwide, an estimated 1.3 million traffic fatalities occur each
year. Drivers can reach their destinations safely and with minimum stress
using systems such as the Bosch traffic jam assistant. At speeds up to
60 kilometers per hour, the assistant brakes automatically in heavy
traffic, accelerates, and keeps the car in its lane.
