XTX Regulators
The Apeks XTX range of regulators has a reputation for quality, performance and features. From the high-end Tungsten models to the entry level XTX20, you will breathe
easy and with great confidence. Each XTX model has something unique and special to
offer but there are many features found throughout the entire line up.
• The pneumatically-balanced 2nd stages provide left / right reversibility so you can customize
your rig to suit your needs.
• Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allows for different length exhaust tees.
• Braided flexi hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter weight, more
flexible and more durable
• Following on the success of the anti-bacterial mouthpiece, anti-bacterial additive has now been
molded into most second stage components. This is especially useful with shared equipment
by providing added protection against bacteria.
• The purge buttons are now larger and easier to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used.
Press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as
filling lift bags etc, then press in the center for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator
clearing etc.
• A new larger venturi lever has been added with a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier
to locate and use
• Compatible to EAN40 when new, straight out of the box.•

Tungsten XTX
The XTX Tungsten is built upon the XTX200 platform but with a truly unique, added
feature: it is protected with a hard, durable PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish. This
tough-as-nails finish is better than traditional chrome plating. The coating is made of
high quality grades of Titanium, Zirconium and Chromium. The result is not only rich,
but protects your investment from normal diving abuse.
• Features the innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allowing the diver to change
from a large exhaust tee to a smaller exhaust tee. The larger exhaust tee provides the best
exhaust bubble dispersion while the smaller tee is lighter weight and compact, both are
included with the regulator.
• The XTX Tungsten can be converted from a right handed hose configuration to a left handed
one. The process of changing the regulator to a left handed configuration is both quick and
simple. However this procedure MUST only be performed by an Apeks Authorized Service
Technician
• The ergonomic venturi lever of the XTX range has been designed to reduce the amount of
grit ingress
• Available in yoke or din configuration
• The silicone exhaust valve used on the XTX demand regulator range improves the breathing
performance of the regulator.

The XTX 200 is the flagship of the Apeks Regulator range and the definitive blend of
style and high performance.
Every detail has been carefully designed to offer a high quality piece of equipment.
• Uses the proven “FSR” type first stage as found on the ATX200 and Tungsten models

XTX40 OXYGEN DIN
Now you can get XTX technology in an oxygen model. This regulator is built for oxygen percentages
between 40 – 100%. This compatibility coupled with its excellent reliability make it the choice for
technical divers doing high O2 percentage deco stops.
• This first stage with swivel turret has two high-pressure ports and four medium-pressure ports
• Green and yellow cosmetic pieces clearly identify that this regulator is dedicated for high-percentage
oxygen use
• The first stage is dry-sealed preventing the entry of contaminants as well as ice formation on the main

Tek 3 Regulator Set
Apeks has developed unique first stages specifically for use on a twinset. The benefits of this award winning
system are: minimized risk of accidental snagging, no hose kinking and easier access to the manifold valves.
Each first stage has three medium pressure ports and one high pressure port. They are over-balanced, cold
water compatible and extremely robust. TEK 3 looks great too. Not only is the TEK 3 suitable for twinset use
but it is equally suitable for single cylinder or stage cylinder configurations offering perfect, snag-free hose
positioning.
For those that already own two Apeks regulators and would like to take advantage of the Tek 3 first stages,
AP0367-1, TEK 3 SET, FIRST STAGES, includes: a LH Tek 3 first stage and a RH Tek 3 first stage in one box.

Black Ice
The Apeks Black Ice is a rugged, weight-integrated, back inflation BC designed with
the advanced diver in mind. Despite its heavy duty construction, it provides amazing
comfort, fit and stability thanks to its Wrapture Harness System (pat. pend.). Due to the
modular nature of this BC, a custom fit can be achieved through any of the three sizes.
The Black Ice is offered in one color only, you guessed it, black.

• Wrapture™ harness system – Using patented swivel shoulder buckles and a proprietary, ultra-thin
back plate, the Wrapture™ provides unsurpassed comfort and stability. Wrapture™ prevents the
BC from “riding-up” on the surface. Out of the water, the Wrapture keeps the cylinder close to
your center of gravity and transfers the weight to your hips. The result is the ability to stand up
straight with a cylinder that is perfectly vertical.
• Because of the multiple size settings at the top of the shoulders as well as either side of the
waistband, a custom fit can be achieved through any one of 3 sizes.
• SureLock II Mechanical Weight Release System (patented) – provides a safe, single-pull release.
Inserting weight is as simple as insert and “click”. With SureLock, your weights are secure in the
BC. Once engaged, the only way to release the weight is to pull on the handle.
• Dual channel weight pockets in front along with non-ditchable weight pockets in back mean
that all sizes can hold up to 42 lbs. (19kg)
• The Black Ice can be rigged for twin cylinders using the optional twin cylinder kit (p/n 427106).
• There are 4 dump valves in all, one in each corner. 3 are proprietary flat valves (patented) that
are very streamlined and effective. The dump valve on the upper left is the rapid exhaust valve
found at the top of the Powerline inflator.
• The Powerline inflator assembly boasts one of the fastest inflation rates in the industry. This
environmentally sealed unit has integrated clips to keep the l.p. inflator hose tucked in tight.
• The air cell has several pass-throughs that allow easy air transfer from left to right
• A triple bladder retraction system is used to pull in the sides of the bladder during deflation. This
keeps the unit streamlined and reduces drag.
• The left pocket is a fold down design with deep capacity, perfect for an extra mask.
• The right pocket is a large utility pocket secured with a robust zipper
• Knife attachment points are found on the left pocket flap which will accommodate many of the
Squeeze Lock knives. This location provides easy access to the knife.
• Features 5 large, angled, stainless steel D-rings for all of your accessories.
• Rolled neck collar for comfort

Single cylinder wings, often referred to as donuts, are
oval shaped air cells or bladders that are not permanently
attached to a harness. While single cylinder wings have
their origins in the realm of technical diving, they are
becoming very popular in the recreational community.
Not only are these single cylinder wings streamlined, but
due to their shape being a continuous loop, they are very
stable underwater. There is no dramatic shift of air from
left to right.
Apeks single cylinder wings are a smart design that allows a cylinder to nest deep inside them. These wings
