set by FEBS. A list of names and email addresses of successful YTF applicants, whose eligibility has
been checked as far as possible by the Course Organizers, should be sent to the FEBS Treasury at

Treasury Manager, to arrive at least 8 weeks before the course. These forms serve to double check
eligibility and to calculate the travel awards.
The Treasury will transfer the cumulative amount of all allocated YTF grants to the bank account of
the organizer as soon as the presence at the event of all YTF participants is confirmed. The approved
travel expenses will be handed by the organizer to the awardees when they arrive at the course. In
special cases the approved travel expenses can be paid to YTF recipients before their travel.
Note that FEBS covers the all-inclusive fee of awardees and may cover some part of the travel costs,
if decided by the Course Organizer. All travel quotes from YTF applicants must be based on the most
economical mode of transport, route and timings as far as reasonable, and be supported by screen
prints from airline/rail-network websites or travel agency documents. FEBS will normally reimburse
up to 100% of travel costs to participants coming from Eastern Europe and up to 80% for the rest;
the total amount of the travel grant can be capped (especially for trans-continental travel),
depending on the available budget.
Course organizers should inform the FEBS Treasury and awardees of any local transport
arrangements in place for the course or (if such arrangements do not exist) an economical way of
reaching the course venue from the nearest airport/station.
