＜Vancouver Summer Program 2017 プログラム詳細＞
1. 大学名：カナダ・ブリティッシュコロンビア大学(UBC)
2. プログラム期間： 2017 年 7 月 15 日 (土) ～ 8 月 15 日 (火)
3. 応募締切り： 2017 年 3 月 17 日 (金) 17:00 (日本時間)
先着順で参加プログラムを選択可能なため、早めの応募を推薦します。
4. 内容： UBC が International Students 向けに開発した１ヶ月のサマープログラムです。
Applied Science (Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science), Architecture, Arts, Business, Dentistry, Education, Forestry, Kinesiology, Land and Food
Systems, Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Science から興味ある専門分野を選択し、アカデミッ
クスキルを身につけるプログラムです。授業は英語で行われますが、語学研修ではありません。
5. 参加費用： CAN$4,750
授業料、寮、教材費、保険、空港～大学送迎代（団体到着の場合のみ）、City Tour、Welcome and
Farewell luncheons 込み。
航空券の手配、食費、パスポート・ビザ申請費用、海外旅行傷害保険、その他諸費用は含みません。
6. 応募条件：次の 4 つの条件を全て満たすこと。
① TOEFL iBT 61 点 /IELTS 5.5 点/ TOEFL ITP 500 点以上
② 累積 GPA 2.8 以上
③ 2017 年 7 月 15 日（土）の時点で 19 歳以上であること
④ プログラム期間中に、留学先または立命館大学での授業や試験がなく、履修に影響がないこと。
7. 単位：プログラムに参加して取得した単位は、本学での単位授与、単位認定は行いません。
8. 応募方法：プログラム内容を確認し、各自希望するパッケージを国際教育センター窓口に申し出てくだ
さい。#9.学内応募書類を提出すること。
9. 学内応募書類：
① 2017 年度外部プログラム受領票兼応募書類提出チェックリスト（添付のもの）
② TOEFL や IELTS スコア等語学力を示す証明書のコピー（Global Studies/CRPS 生は提出不要）
・学内団体受験でスコアを紛失した場合は申し出ること。国際教育センターでスコアを参照します。
③ 累積 GPA が記載されている『2016 年度前期成績通知表』のコピー
・成績証明書や、保証人に送付されている成績表は、GPA が記載されていないため無効です。
・成績通知表を紛失した場合は、各自で『CAMPUS WEB』の「成績取得情報（照会）」画面および
「単位修得情報をみる（照会）」画面を、それぞれ A４サイズの用紙に印刷し、提出のこと。

Program Information < Vancouver Summer Program 2017 >
1. University: The University of British Columbia (UBC)
2. Duration: July 15, 2017 – August 15, 2017
3. Application Deadline: @ 17:00, March 17, 2017 (JST)
Please note that students are accepted as they apply so some packages may be full by the deadline. Early
applications are encouraged.
4. Overview: Students from international universities are welcomed each summer to Vancouver, BC,
Canada for four weeks to study two courses on the beautiful campus of UBC. Students may choose
from 55 course packages offered in the areas of Applied Science (Chemical Engineering, Civil
Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), Applied Science, Architecture, Arts,
Business, Dentistry, Education, Forestry, Kinesiology, Land and Food Systems, Medicine,
Pharmaceutical Sciences and Science. Courses will be taught in English.
5. Program Fee: $4,750 CAD including tuition, accommodation, course materials, medical insurance, airport
transfers for group arrivals, a city tour and welcome/farewell luncheons
This program fee does NOT include airfare, meals, passport/visa application fees, overseas travel
insurance, and any other costs.
6. Eligibility: The applicants need to fulfill ALL of the conditions below;
A. English proficiency : Above TOEFL iBT 61/ Above IELTS 5.5/ Above TOEFL ITP 500
(Global Studies/CRPS students do not need to submit English proficiency score)
B. Above GPA 2.8
C. To be older than 19 years old as of July 15, 2017
D. Not to have any classes or exams at Ritsumeikan nor host university of Study Abroad Program
during Vancouver Summer Program
7. Credits: Credits earned by participating in this program won’t be transferred to Ritsumeikan.
8. How to Apply: Please choose a course package of your interest and register at the International Center
at Ritsumeikan. Application documents need to be submitted by the deadline.

B. A photocopy of your Official Student Grade Report (with your latest Cumulative GPA shown)
* If you lost the official student grade report, please print out all pages from Grade Acquisition

C. A photocopy of your English proficiency Test Result. * If you are to use a score of TOEFL®
ITP offered at Ritsumeikan but have lost the score report, please consult with the
International Center.
