UNESCO World Heritage Site
Das Gesamtkunstwerk Potsdam mit seiner historischen Innenstadt und den berühmten Schlössern und Gärten wurde von
der UNESCO zu weiten Teilen zum Welterbe erklärt. Auf der
Grundlage eines umfassenden Planes des Gartenarchitekten
Peter Joseph Lenné wurden im 19. Jahrhundert die Potsdamer
Schlösser und Gärten zu einer einzigartigen Kulturlandschaft
verflochten.
Erleben Sie Park und Schloss Sanssouci, das Pfingstbergensemble, das Holländische Viertel und die Russische Kolonie
Alexandrowka. Darüber hinaus lockt die Potsdamer Mitte mit
Nikolaikirche, Landtag, Potsdam Museum und neuem Museum
Barberini.
Large swathes of Potsdam, with its historical city centre and
famous palaces and gardens, have been declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Based on the detailed plans of the 19thcentury landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné, Potsdam’s
palaces and gardens were weaved together to form a unique
work of art.
Discover Sanssouci Park and Palace, the Pfingstberg ensemble, the Dutch Quarter and the Russian colony of Alexandrowka.
Visitors can also experience St Nicholas’ Church, the State
Parliament building, Potsdam Museum and the new Museum
Barberini in the centre of Potsdam.

seiner Kindheit verbunden. Sein Interesse an der königlich-kaiserlichen

Für mich ist Potsdam eine wunderbare Stadt, die mit seiner wasserreichen
Umgebung und seiner kulturellen Vielfalt

entdecken.
Meinen Freunden empfehle ich,
sich unbedingt das Schloss Babelsberg
anzuschauen, das im April 2017 mit der
Ausstellung „Pückler. Babelsberg“ eröffnen wird. Aus den großen Fens- tern des
Schlosses bietet sich ein unvergleichlicher Blick auf die vom Gartenkünstler
Pückler gestaltete Landschaft.
Du weißt, du bist in Potsdam, wenn
du an einem Sommerabend bei einem
Glas Wein an der Großen Fontäne sitzt
und zum Schloss Sanssouci hinaufschaust.

Ulrich Wolff ist seit über 16 Jahren
bei der Weissen Flotte. Als erfahrener
Schiffsführer kennt er sich auf den Potsdamer und Brandenburger Havelseen
bestens aus. Mit der Frachtschifffahrt
zog es ihn auf ferne Gewässer, doch
er sehnte sich nach seiner Heimat.
Seit 1961 lebt er in Potsdam.
Glienicker Brücke
Für mich ist Potsdam meine Heimat
und eine kontinuierlich wachsende und
moderne Stadt. In Potsdam sind im
Vergleich zu anderen Städten besonders viele Sehenswürdigkeiten auf einen
relativ kleinen Raum gebündelt.
Meinen Freunden empfehle ich in
Potsdam unbedingt eine Schlösserrundfahrt. Hier sieht man die schönsten am
Wasser liegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten
wie das Schloss Babelsberg, Schloss
Cecilienhof, das kleine Schloss, die
Glienicker Brücke u.v.m.

Flotte boat tour agency for over 16
years. An experienced skipper, he
knows the Havel lakes in Potsdam and
Brandenburg better than almost anyone
else. Working for the maritime trade took
him to faraway waters, but he longed
to return to his home. He has lived in
Potsdam since 1961.

In Babelsberg befindet sich das älteste Filmstudio der Welt.
Seit 1912 entstehen auf dem Gelände Film- und Fernsehproduktionen: erst bei der UFA, dann bei der DEFA und heute
beim Studio Babelsberg.
Gleich neben den Studios befinden sich der imposante Bau
der Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf und der Besuchermagnet Filmpark Babelsberg. Ein besonderes Highlight für
Cineasten ist das Filmmuseum, das die mehr als 100-jährige
Filmgeschichte dokumentiert und in interaktiven Ausstellungen
originale Filmrequisiten zeigt.
Babelsberg is home to the world’s oldest film studio. Film and
television productions have been created here since 1912,
initially for UFA, then DEFA, and now Studio Babelsberg.
The impressive building of Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and the visitor magnet that is Filmpark Babelsberg
are located right next to the studio. A special highlight for film
buffs is the film museum, which documents over 100 years of
film history with interactive exhibitions of original film props.

accommodation in the city. Professional expenses for paid overnight
