Syllabus and applicant’s qualifications required are as follows:
(1) Beginner
(2) Elementary 1

: Textbook used is “Minna No Nihongo”; covers basic daily conversation,
reading & writing of Hiragana & Katakana.
: Able to comprehend simple greetings & conversational Japanese.
: Passed JLPT N5 or its equivalent or completed Elementary 1.
: Passed JLPT N5～N4 or its equivalent or completed Elementary 2.
: Passed JLPT N4 or its equivalent or completed Intermediate 1.
: Passed JLPT N3 or its equivalent.
: For beginners, conversation only (no reading & writing), basic conversation.
