The code on the microcontroller was written to imitate a malfunction of the lamp. So the lamps would turn on and off in irregular intervals, as if the lights were trying to twinkle to the visitor. As high as you could get* Throwing an analog compact camera as high as possible into the air and trying to make a picture at the highest point of the flight curve via self timer. The camera broke after twentynine pictures. Inkjet prints behind glass Sinking Islands* A series of sixteen images depicting piles of melting snow with strong associative qualities, found in the Swiss Jura mountains on a hike in sping. Fluorescent Lamp Interference // Transition* The lights in the exhibition space were controled with relay switches and, a motion sensor and an arduino, so that the light of the coridor would turn on every few times when a visitor interfered with the sensor. Manual Exposure Control* The space was completely lightproof at the opening, only lit with three the red safety lights. The photosensitive paper on the panels was exposed during the opening through visitors smoking and looking at their smartphones. The next day, the paper was developed and fixed and the black curtains removed. Twentysix Sunsets* A collection of all the sunsets between Bern and the Atlantic Ocean, collected on a 950km walk into the direction of the setting sun. While you were sleeping* A series of installations in hotelrooms that were rented for one night. Interior views of sleeping spaces* A collection of dead spaces between the shelves of a supermarket chain, photographed from above. The photographs were „stolen“ while working for the decoration department of the supermarket chain. Autobahnfahrt während eines Schneesturms* A series of photographs taken in horrible weather conditions while driving in a car alone on the highway in Eastern Switzerland. The photonegatives were later treated with salt and ice. C.V.
