Valartis Bank vor Namenswechsel
Die Valartis Bank (Liechtenstein) AG hat ihren neuen Firmennamen im Handelsregister eingetragen.
Das Liechtensteiner Geldinstitut firmiert neu als „BENDURA BANK AG“. BENDURA ist keltischen
Ursprungs und setzt sich aus den Elementen BEN- und DURO (Tor, Festung) zusammen. Es ist auch
eine Referenz gegenüber der Architektur des eigenen Bankgebäudes und der liechtensteinischen
Standortgemeinde Bendern.
Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem chinesischen Mehrheitsaktionär Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group Ltd.
aus Hong Kong (CWJ) läuft nach Plan und entwickelt sich erfreulich. Dank der Übernahme durch CWJ
eröffnet sich der BENDURA BANK AG das Tor nach Asien. Dort kann das eigenständige Institut mit
ihrem neuen Mehrheitsaktionär diesen zusätzlichen Markt intensiv bearbeiten. Darüber hinaus ergeben
sich mit der Luxusuhrenmarke CORUM – ein Schwesterunternehmen - gemeinsame Möglichkeiten im
Marketing, weil beide Unternehmen idente Zielgruppen fokussieren. Beim Snow Polo World Cup 2017
in Kitzbühel trat das Banken-Uhren-Tandem erstmals gemeinsam auf. Mit Blick auf das Geschäftsjahr
2016 bestätigt sich das überaus positive Bild der Bank vom vergangenen September. Über das

Valartis Bank before Rebranding
The Valartis Bank (Liechtenstein) AG has entered its new name in the FL company register. The
Liechtenstein bank will operate under the new name “BENDURA BANK AG”. BENDURA has Celtic
origin and consists of the elements BEN- and DURO (gate, fortress). It is also a reference to the
architecture of its own bank building and the Liechtenstein community Bendern, where BENDURA is
located.
The cooperation with the Chinese majority shareholder Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group Ltd. from
Hong Kong (CWJ) is on track and developing positively. The takeover by CWJ opens the door to Asia
for BENDURA BANK AG. There, the independent institute with its new major shareholder is able to
exploit this additional market with particular intensity. In addition, there are joint marketing opportunities
with the luxury watch brand CORUM - a sister company - as both companies focus on the same target
group. The bank-watch-tandem had its premiere at the Snow Polo World Cup 2017 in Kitzbühel. In view
of the financial year 2016, the banks highly positive image of last September can be confirmed. In April
2017, the bank will report on the past financial year.
