zu der HINGESEHEN Veranstaltung am

Beginn 18.30 Uhr
Der Abend beginnt mit einem Peace Slam von drei internationalen Wissenschaftlern zum Thema
Frieden. Danach zeigen wir den Film DRESDEN REFUGE (hier der Link zum Trailer), wobei im
Anschluss Fragen möglich sind.
Beim Peace Slam werden drei in Dresden forschende Wissenschaftler - Stefan aus Serbien, Caterin
aus Kolumbien und Siavash aus dem Iran - über ihr Verständnis von Frieden slammen (in Englisch).
Der anschließend gezeigte Dokumentarfilm DRESDEN REFUGE (2016, Regie Xuban Inxausti, Deutsch
mit englischen Untertiteln) entstand als einer von zehn Filmen des Projektes Europa Transit, einer
Reisenden Botschaft von San Sebastian, der Europäischen Kulturhauptstadt 2016. DRESDEN REFUGE
dokumentiert, was die Aufnahme von Geflüchteten für Dresden bedeutet und zeigt eine gespaltene
Stadt. Es wird deutlich, dass Dresdens Geschichte darauf Einfluss hat, wie die Einwohner auf die
Ankunft der Geflüchteten reagieren.
Nach dem Film ist der Austausch möglich mit Menschen, die im Kontext Willkommens- und
Friedenskultur in Dresden aktiv sind.
Die Veranstaltung ist eine Kooperation zwischen dem MEMORARE PACEM Gesellschaft für
Friedenskultur e.V., der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Sachsen, dem TUD Welcome Center und der
Lokalen Agenda 21 für Dresden e.V.

We cordially invite you to the

Starting 6.30 pm
We will start the evening with a Peace
Slam where three international scientists
will slam about peace. Then we will
screen the documentary DRESDEN REFUGE (see trailer here) where there are questions possible
afterwards.
At the Peace Slam three scientists doing research work in Dresden – Stefan from Serbia, Caterin from
Columbia and Siavash from Iran - will slam about their personal understanding of peace (in English).
The subsequent screened documentary DRESDEN REFUGE (2016, director Xuban Inxausti, 55 min,
German with English subtitles) was filmed as one of ten films within the project Europa Transit, a
travelling embassy from the city of San Sebastian, the former European Capital of Culture 2016.
DRESDEN REFUGE documents the impact of the arrival of refugees in Dresden and depicts a divided
city. It reveals that the troubled history of the city influences the way its residents respond to the
arrival of the refugees.
After the film you can connect with people active in welcoming networks, peace and community
work.
This evening event is organized within a cooperation of the MEMORARE PACEM Gesellschaft für
Friedenskultur e.V., the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Sachsen, the TUD Welcome Center and the Lokalen
Agenda 21 für Dresden e.V.
