For this purpose a test setup has to be designed and tests performed. A Polysun model of the heat pump has to be adjusted and extended to include the photovoltaic system. Test data are to be used for validation of the model. The model should be used to investigate system behavior for different control schemes, solar irradiation and heat demand profiles. Investment costs of the system will be used to determine a cost-efficient system setup.
