An der diesjährigen Goldschmidt-Konferenz in Yokahoma, Japan wurde Prof. Klaus Mezger mit der
prestigeträchtigen Urey Medaille ausgezeichnet. Dies ist weltweit die höchste Auszeichnung für
Geochemie. Diese herausragende Leistung feiern wir mit einem Übersichtsvortrag von Klaus Mezger
mit anschliessendem Apéro.
Prof Klaus Mezger was awarded the prestigious Urey medal at this years Goldschmidt conference in
Yokahoma, Japan. This is the highest award worldwide for research in the field of geochemistry. We
celebrate this outstanding achievement with an overview presentation from Klaus Mezger, followed by
an Apéro.
Urey Medaille:
" The Urey Award is bestowed annually by the European Association of Geochemistry for outstanding
contributions advancing geochemistry over a career. The award is based solely on scientific merit and is
presented at the V.M. Goldschmidt Conference.
