Das Bauen im Bestand gewinnt im Vergleich
zum Neubau immer mehr an Bedeutung.
Insbesondere die Umnutzung von Industriebauten und der Denkmalschutz erweisen
sich als Konjunkturmotoren der Bau- und
Immobilienbranche. In mehr als der Hälfte
aller Sanierungsvorhaben im Nichtwohnbau
stehen Bauten aus den fünfziger und sechziger Jahren im Zentrum der Aufgabenstellung.
Hier ist viel Fingerspitzengefühl erforderlich
um einerseits den spezifischen Charakter zu
erhalten und andererseits die Gebäudehülle
an die heutigen Anforderungen anzupassen.
Dabei kommt dem Werkstoff Stahl aufgrund
seiner spezifischen Stärken in puncto Materialeigenschaften und Designmöglichkeiten eine
zentrale Rolle zu.

projects are becoming increasingly important.
The conversion of industrial buildings and
conservation of historical buildings in
particular prove to be the engines of economic
growth in the construction and real estate
industries. More than half of all non-residential
renovation projects involve buildings from
the 1950s and 1960s. A great deal of instinct
is required to retain the specific character
on the one hand, and to bring the building
envelope up to current standards on the
other. Steel plays a central role in this owing
to its specific strengths in terms of material
properties and design options.

This profile series has been specially
developed for the renovation of industrial and
loft glazing,
as well as the windows of listed buildings.
Typical, slender, Bauhaus-style glazing can
be almost perfectly restored using extremely
slimline, thermally broken profiles.
Janisol Arte is therefore the first choice when
redesigning former factory buildings. The
profiles feature impressive face widths of just
25 or 40 mm. The selected materials – steel
and glass fibre-reinforced high performance
plastics guarantee minimal heat loss and
maximum stability. Double glazed units with
a max. thickness of 34 mm can be easily
integrated in the profiles with a basic depth of
60 mm. The conventional opening types for
buildings from the 1950s and 1960s, such as
inward or outward-opening side-hung, doublevent, bottom-hung, top-hung or projected tophung windows, can be constructed using just
4 types of profile.
Diese Profilserie ist speziell für die Sanierung
von Industrie- und Loftverglasungen sowie
von denkmalgeschützten Fenstern entwickelt
worden. Die typischen, feingliedrigen Verglasungen im Bauhaus-Stil lassen sich mit
den äusserst filigranen, thermisch getrennten
Profilen nahezu perfekt rekonstruieren.
Janisol Arte ist deshalb erste Wahl bei der
Neugestaltung von ehemaligen Fabrikgebäuden. Die Profile überzeugen mit Ansichtsbreiten von lediglich 25 resp. 40 mm. Die
gewählten Werkstoffe – Stahl und glasfaserverstärkte Hochleistungs-Kunststoffe
garantieren ein Minimum an Wärmeverlust
bei einem Maximum an Stabilität. In die
Profile mit einer Bautiefe von 60 mm können
die heute üblichen Isoliergläser bis zu einer
Stärke von 34 mm problemlos eingebaut
werden. Mit nur 4 Profiltypen können die
für Bauten aus den fünfziger und sechziger
Jahren üblichen Öffnungsarten wie Dreh-,
Stulp-, Kipp-, Klapp- oder Senkklappfenster
nach innen oder nach aussen öffnend
realisiert werden.
