CHAMBER MUSIC PLUS
September 2014 to June 2015
l This booklet started in 1992 as a listing of concerts that
were strictly chamber music, but when a few years later
chamber choirs and chamber orchestras were included, the
expansion into listing larger scale concerts began, so some
concerts featured in these pages did rather stretch the
definition of "chamber music"! Consequently we changed the
name of the booklet to Chamber Music Plus.
l Most chamber music concerts are given in venues which
have unreserved seating with tickets at just one price and
the excellent value given usually includes modestly priced
programmes and interval drinks.
l Ticket prices are given on the last line of each concert’s
details, with prices for pensioners, students and other
concessions, if applicable, in brackets. It is advisable to
check the availability of tickets before travelling.
l Booking fee. Some venues charge a booking fee on top of
the ticket price. Please check when booking.
l Most concerts included in this booklet are part of a series
and subscribing to such a series can make a big saving on
the cost of individual tickets. Separate leaflets can be
obtained from the addresses listed on the back cover.
l Website. Chamber Music Plus has its own website and these
concerts can be seen at www.wmcm.co.uk. Or Google ‘West
Midlands Chamber Music’.
