- Half of the top 10 vendors were Chinese companies: Huawei, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Yulong and ZTE.

in Latin America and 3.15Million devices sold in North America
- Motorola’s revival in these regions is driven by Motorola’s strong relationships with the carriers in North and South America
- TCL's mid-to-low priced range, Alcatel One Touch smartphones, mostly sold in Latin America and Europe managed to sell 2.2Million devices, up from under 100k in Q1 2013
