the discovery and development of innovative, antibody fragment-based therapeutics. With our breakthrough
antibody-discovery and multi-specifics engineering platform, we engage in proprietary projects as well as
collaborative research on behalf of partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
For our process development team, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team member
to join us as:
Research Associate / Technician Process Development (m/f)
In this position, you will be involved in the expression, purification and biophysical characterization of
antibody development candidates. You will contribute to the process development and manufacture of
antibody-derived therapeutic proteins, applying methods from a variety of disciplines including:





Recombinant protein expression in microbial and mammalian expression systems
Refolding, purification, analysis and characterization of antibodies and antibody fragments
Experiments supporting the process development and scale-up
Planning, execution, analysis and presentation of experiments
General organization of the laboratories, evaluation and acquisition of equipment and consumables
Your profile should ideally include the following:






University degree OR a completed apprenticeship as laboratory technician in biology, chemistry or
related fields
Professional experience in heterologous protein expression using fermentation of microbial and
mammalian expression systems (e.g. E. coli, CHO) including cell line development
Experience in one of the following fields: protein biochemistry, protein therapeutics process
development, quality control
Accurate and team-oriented work style as well as a high sense of quality
Ability to work on diverse challenges independently
Refined computer user skills (Windows, MS Office) and communication skills

Diese abwechslungsreiche Position beinhaltet die Konzeption, Herstellung und Charakterisierung von
therapeutischen Entwicklungskandidaten. Die vielfältigen Aufgaben dieser Position umfassen unter
anderem:





Rekombinante Proteinexpression in eukaryotischen und prokaryotischen Wirtszellen
Rückfaltung, Reinigung und Charakterisierung von Proteinen
Experimente zur Unterstützung der Prozessentwicklung und Scale-Up
Planung, Durchführung, Auswertung und Präsentation von Experimenten
Allgemeine Organisation der Laboratorien sowie Evaluation und Beschaffung von Geräten und
Verbrauchsmaterialien
Erfolgreiche Bewerber erfüllen idealerweise die folgenden Voraussetzungen:






Abgeschlossenes Studium ODER Berufslehre als Laborant im Bereich Biologie, Chemie oder
verwandten Disziplinen
Praktische Erfahrung in Proteinexpression durch eukaryotische und prokaryotische
Wirtzellenfermentation (z.B. E. coli, CHO), sowie Zelllinienentwicklung
Erfahrung in einem der folgenden Bereiche: Proteinbiochemie, Molekularbiologie,
Proteinaufreinigung oder Proteinanalytik
Exakte und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie hohes Mass an Qualitätsbewusstsein
Freude an selbständigem Arbeiten und vielseitigen Problemstellungen
Gute EDV Kenntnisse (Windows, MS Office) und ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit
