Summary of PRIASoft:
 2012-13 was the “online year’’ for PRIASoft.

1.75 lakh Panchayats on board PRIASoft.

As on 21st February, 2014, 1,38,816 Panchayats are undertaking/ have undertaken FY
2012- 13 and 55, 361 Panchayats are undertaking FY 2013- 14 voucher entry online.

All Panchayats that have connectivity must make voucher entries online.
 Integration of State applications of Gujarat, Karnataka & Kerala is ongoing.
 In compliance with MAS, all records in hardcopy (account books) as per MAS
prescribed 8 Register formats would have to be strictly complied with by the States/ Uts.
 Data to be captured in all the 8 Registers (as per MAS formats) available in PRIASoft.
 Standing Committee of Parliament had expressed concern at the slow progress in PRIASoft.
 State Monitoring Committee (SMC) to be formulated to review& streamline PRIASoft
adoption, along with to address any accounting domain issues arising in the State/ UT.
