Beschreibung des Projektes (Hintergründe/Ziele):
H i e r m i t schlage ich M e l i n a S c h i k o r r (Einbeck/ N e g e n b o r n ) für d e n J u g e n d p r e i s 2 0 1 6 v o r .
M e l i n a S c h i k o r r h a t s c h o n als 14-jährige i h r m u s i k a l i s c h e s T a l e n t , z u s a m m e n m i t M i c h a e l B e y e r , h i e r in d e r R e g i o n b e k a n n t als d e r
„Singende Polizist", als I n t e r p r e t i n z w e i e r Songs a u f d e r „Schutzengel-CD" e i n g e b r a c h t . S c h o n d a m a l s s e t z t e sie sich für die V e r k e h r s s i c h e r h e i t e i n m i t I h r e m T i t e l „Lass m i c h d e i n S c h u t z e n g e l s e i n " , d e n sie i m Z u s a m m e n h a n g m i t d e r „Schutzengel-Aktion" v o m L a n d k r e i s
N o r t h e i m und der N o r t h e i m e r V e r k e h r s w a c h t auf der Schutzengel-CD interpretierte.
M i t 1 7 w a r sie d a n n „Schauspielerin" I m I m a g e f i l m d e r L a n d e s v e r k e h r s w a c h t , d e r h i e r in d e r R e g i o n g e d r e h t w u r d e . D e r F i l m zeigt
anschaulich die A r b e i t d e r V e r k e h r s w a c h t e n In N i e d e r s a c h s e n , die z u r S t e l g e r u n g d e r V e r k e h r s s i c h e r h e i t a u c h In u n s e r e r R e g i o n b e i t r a g e n
u n d das Leitbild d e r niedersächsischen V e r k e h r s w a c h t - A r b e i t v e r d e u t l i c h e n s o l l : „Unsere V i s i o n ist d e r u n f a l l f r e i e Straßenverkehr". Er
w u r d e m i t v o r w i e g e n d e h r e n a m t l i c h m i t w i r k e n d e n S c h a u s p i e l e r n u n d S t a t i s t e n h i e r In d e r R e g i o n g e d r e h t u n d d i e n t d e n V e r k e h r s w a c h t e n
in ganz N i e d e r s a c h s e n z u r V e r d e u t l i c h u n g i h r e r Verkehrssicherhelts-Präventlonsarbelt.
Letztes Jahr w u r d e M e l i n a bei e i n e m Casting ausgewählt als das „Gesicht" d e r B e l e u c h t u n g s a k t i o n „Licht-Test 2 0 1 5 " . Das d e u t s c h e
K f z - G e w e r b e u n d das V e r k e h r s w a c h t m a g a z i n „mobil u n d s i c h e r " h a t t e n v i a F a c e b o o k e i n e n B o t s c h a f t e r für die b u n d e s w e i t e S i c h e r h e i t s k a m p a g n e gesucht. M e l i n a S c h i k o r r überzeugte die Jury n i c h t n u r m i t I h r e m s y m p a t h i s c h e n A u f t r e t e n , s o n d e r n a u c h m i t i h r e n
A r g u m e n t e n : „Gerade in d e r d u n k l e n Jahreszelt Ist es w i c h t i g d u r c h die B e l e u c h t u n g a n K r a f t f a h r z e u g e n z u s e h e n u n d g e s e h e n z u
w e r d e n , d a m i t m a n sich u n d a n d e r e n i c h t unnötig gefährdet". So w a r b sie a u f P l a k a t e n in ganz D e u t s c h l a n d für das M o t t o d e r
S i c h e r h e i t s a k t i o n „Licht s c h a f f t S i c h t " für d e n k o s t e n f r e i e n Licht-Test.
Des W e l t e r e n ist d i e h e u t e 1 9 jährige, w i e b e r e i t s o b e n erwähnt, s e i t J a h r e n {seit sie 1 3 Ist) für das S c h u t z e n g e l p r o j e k t des Landkreises
tätig. M i t 1 6 w u r d e sie o f f i z i e l l z u m „Schutzengel" e r n a n n t u n d ist s e i t d e m a u f f a s t j e d e r V e r a n s t a l t u n g e h r e n a m t l i c h i m Einsatz.
Während a n d e r e a u f d e r „Eule" f e i e r n s t a n d sie a u c h i m v e r g a n g e n e n J a h r a m F r e i t a g u n d a m S a m s t a g j e w e i l s v o n 1 9 : 0 0 U h r bis
M i t t e r n a c h t a m S t a n d d e r A k t i o n „0,00 P r o m i l l e für 1 0 0 0 " u n d w a r b für a l k o h o l f r e i e s u n d sicheres A u t o f a h r e n d e r J u g e n d l i c h e n i n d e r
S t a d t . Dabei s i e h t sie i h r e n Einsatz als w a h r e s E h r e n a m t . N i c h t n u r dass sie für d i e s e n Einsatz k e i n e Aufwandentschädigung b e k o m m t ,
s t e l l t sie auch-kfeine F a h r t k o s t e n In R e c h n u n g !
Darüber h i n a u s ließ M e l i n a sich als 14jährige z u m Bus S c o u t a u s b i l d e n . In e i n e r ISstündigen S c h u l u n g l e r n t e sie, w i e sie brenzlige
S i t u a t i o n e n i n S c h u l b u s s e n e r k e n n t , r i c h t i g einschätzt u n d so für e i n e B e r u h i g u n g u n d E n t s p a n n u n g d e r S i t u a t i o n s o r g e n k a n n u n d
d a m i t d e n S c h u l w e g s o w o h l für d e n B u s f a h r e r , als a u c h für die Mitschüler s t r e s s f r e i e r u n d s i c h e r e r m a c h e n k a n n . A u c h diese A u f g a b e
übte sie 3 Jahre lang, bis z u m E n d e I h r e r Zelt a u f d e r Realschule, e h r e n a m t l i c h a u s .
In der h e u t i g e n Zeit gibt es l e i d e r n i c h t m e h r v i e l e J u g e n d l i c h e , die sich e h r e n a m t l i c h so e n g a g i e r t für i h r e M i t m e n s c h e n / M i t j u g e n d l i c h e n
e i n s e t z e n w i e sie. U m s o m e h r würde ich m i c h f r e u e n , w e n n d e r K r e i s j u g e n d r i n g dieses E n g a g e m e n t m i t d e r V e r l e i h u n g des
Jugendpreises a n M e l i n a S c h i k o r r würdigen würde.
