(2) Other responsibilities as a full-time faculty member include participation
on committees and various projects, and accompanying students on
overseas study trips.
応募資格
以下のいずれの条件も満たす者
Qualification
(1) 英語教育学、外国語教育学、または応用言語学の修士以上の学位を有する者
(2) 英語で書かれた英語教育に関する研究業績を 2 点以上有する者
(3) 高等教育機関等で、外国語として英語を教授した経験を 3 年以上有する者
(4) 高度な英語運用能力を有する者
(5) 日本人スタッフと日本語によるコミュニケーションができ、良好な人間関係
を構築し、チームの一員として協調して仕事ができる者
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
(1) Master’s degree or higher, in TESOL, Foreign Language Education or
Applied Linguistics
(2) At least two academic publications written in English in the field of
English teaching
(3) At least three years’ experience in teaching English at the university
level
(4) Native or near native proficiency in English
(5) Japanese language skills for communication with Japanese staff, good
interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team.

＊実践女子大学は渋谷と日野にキャンパスがあり、研究室は渋谷になりますが、
両キャンパスの授業をご担当いただきます。
*Jissen Women’s University has two campuses, one in Shibuya and the other
in Hino. The hired instructor will teach at both campuses. The instructor’s
office is located on the Shibuya Campus.

Note: (1) and (2) must contain applicant’s educational background,
employment experience and, complete list of publications, presentations and
other research materials, including dates for all these items.
(3) Copy of master’s degree diploma and the contact address of the
institutions for the purpose of verification.

(5) A statement summarizing teaching philosophy, materials, methods,
activities, etc. (Approximately 800 words in English)

選考方法
Selection
Process
(1) 第一次選考は書類審査を行います。
(2) 書類審査を通過した候補者に、渋谷キャンパス(東京都渋谷区東 1-1-49)にお
いて、第二次選考として面接審査を行います。第二次選考では、模擬授業、
プレゼンテーション、追加資料の提出などをお願いすることがあります。な
お、面接審査時の旅費等は応募者の負担となります。
(3) 選考結果は、各審査の後、文書で本人に通知します。
(1) First stage: A shortlist will be drawn up after careful screening of the
documents submitted.
(2) Second stage: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on the Shibuya
Campus (1-1-49, Higashi, Shibuya, Tokyo). At this stage, a teaching
demonstration, presentation or submittal of further materials, etc. may
be requested. Travel expenses for the interview are to be borne by the
applicant.
(3) After each screening, applicants will be notified of the selection results in
writing.
